Penfield High School

The Penfield Chapter of the National Honor Society inducts students in the fall and spring each year. Students involved in NHS exemplify scholarship, leadership, service and character and participate in numerous community service activities throughout the year.

History
For over eighty years, the National Honor Society has worked to bring the accomplishments of our outstanding high school students to the attention of their parents, peers, community, and colleges that they plan to attend. Chapters in nearly 15,000 secondary schools continue to give practical meaning to the Society's dedication to character, scholarship, leadership, and service.

By selecting students into the National Honor Society, the Penfield High School Faculty honors the attainments already made and recognizes the promise they contain of continued excellence in the cherished ideals of the Society.
